MY STORY
PHASE 1: THE HEART OF STRATHROY — OUR RESTAURANTS
My dream began to come to life in the very center of Strathroy. These were years of grueling work and boundless belief:
• 2023: I officially incorporated "Ukrainian Pierogies Inc." and opened the doors to our café at 83 Frank St. It was a place where we warmed our first guests with the comfort of home.
• 2024: We took a major step forward and opened a full-service restaurant at 86 Frank St, in the heart of Downtown Strathroy.
• Plans for 2026: We are actively preparing for the launch of our food trailer, which will be based at the London Food Park
PHASE 2: SCALING AND THE ALLUKRA TRADEMARK
As demand for our products grew far beyond the restaurant walls, it was time for industrial scaling. In 2025, I reached a major milestone by officially launching the ALLUKRA trademark. We moved into professional production facilities at The Grove (Western Fair District) in London, launching the wholesale production of frozen pierogies. Today, the ALLUKRA brand represents a modern production line supplying authentic Ukrainian products to supermarkets and markets across London, Woodstock, and surrounding areas.
PHASE 3: SOCIAL MISSION AND MULTICULTURAL WORKSHOPS
Today, my business is about more than just food. It is a bridge between cultures. At our production base in The Grove, I have launched our first multicultural workshop. This is a space where people of all backgrounds can learn the art of pinching Ukrainian pierogies, sharing stories and finding community at a common table.
My journey has become a business case study at Huron University, and my speaking engagements at Western University allow me to motivate future entrepreneurs: "Your circumstances do not define your future. Your courage does.
